On January 25, 2012, Evolution Markets conducted an auction of Renewable Energy Certificates on behalf of the University of New Hampshire (UNH). The RECs are generated by the University's ECOLine(tm) landfill gas-to-energy project. The RECs were sold using Evolution Markets proprietary online auction screen EvoAuction(sm).
UNH offered a total of 30,000 vintage 2011, 2012, and 2013 RECs eligible in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Maine.
