Evolution Markets was voted best broker for the carbon market in a survey of top industry players conducted by Oslo-based Point Carbon. Point Carbon provides independent analysis, news, market intelligence and forecasting for the emerging carbon emission markets. The results were part of Point Carbon's "Carbon Market Awards 2005", which were announced at its premier conference, Carbon Market Insights.

EuroMoney/Ernst & Young Carbon Trade of the Year
Evolution Markets brokered the first ever EU allowance trade using the ISDA contract. This trade between Fortis and DKW was honored as the "Carbon Trade of the Year" as part of EuroMoney and Ernst & Young's Renewable Energy Awards in 2004.
